Setting the Italian Motorcycle land-stationary-beauty record.
bullet 350 is not likely to make a great impression on #Bonneville
Salt Flats… unless it is ridden by this biker!
I asked my last model to assume the riding position of Rollie Free on his Vincent in 1948, when he was setting the American #motorcycle
land-speed record of 150 mph.
Funnily enough, the #RoyalEnfieldBullet
was launched in the very same year, and is probably one of the longest lived motorcycle of all times, and I don’t mean using the same name for marketing reasons either (like #HarleyDavidsonSportster
I bought my Bullet in 2007, and they still went on building this very same pre-unit 350cc engined bike in India also after that year.
The bike changed very little in its 60+ years history, and my example still looks fabulous to this day.
The simple beaut coming from purpose alone, not from the fancy minds of designers.
So, all in all, I would say this bike with this rider on top, makes for a very sexy combination, possibly even better than the original 1948 picture I referred to… 😉
For all the #biker
friends out there, a new record was set in Italy for stationary motorbike beauty.
